Motorola rolls out MOTO VE66 with support for widgets

If you are among the few who didn’t like those sexy candybar phones from Motorola, here comes a sleek slider phone from the house of Motorola. The new MOTO VE66 Linux-based slider phone has been officially announced. Motorola claims this phone to have enhanced call quality, thanks to a noise-canceling dual microphone setup. Moreover, it’s the first Motorola phone with widget integration, which will allow users to access a range of applications, including stock tickers and blog RSS feeds.

Technical Specifications: MOTOMAGX operating system, 5-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash and 8x zoom, 30FPS video recording, Wi-Fi, music navigation key, Windows Media Player 11, USB 2.0 connectivity, 110MB user memory, microSDHC memory card slot with support of up to 32GB, and built-in FM Radio.

Pricing & Availability: The MOTO VE66 will be offered for sale in South East Asia, China, India, Europe, the Middle East and Africa in Q4 this year. No word on pricing.
