Motorola M990 Smart Rider gets FCC nod

Some things just don’t make sense. Like why would anyone want to have a fixed ‘mobile’ phone anywhere, let alone a car? Maybe the folks over at Motorola are onto something that they think is too technologically advanced to be comprehensible to us ordinary people. Anyway their new M990 Smart Rider device got the FCC’s approval, so we’re thinking it couldn’t be all that bad. The GSM high tier fixed mobile car phone provides high speed data services as well as voice, entertainment, information, advanced network connection, BT connections, GPS navigation and quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE g24 module. Standard color display, GPS and Bluetooth connectivity make it a handy gadget if you can only figure out why it deserves merit over your portable mobile phone!
