Target Customers: Touchscreen phones and clamshell lovers.

From the makers of sleek and sexy cellphones like the RAZR and PEBL, we really wouldn’t expect anything that resembles a bar of soap. Now, Motorola and Verizon Wireless have let loose the Motorola Krave ZN4, which they are marketing as “first interactive clear flip, full-touch phone.” Krave ZN4 is the very first touchscreen cellphone from the house of Motorola, which will see the day’s light in the States. And yes, it’s none other than the previously known Motorola Blaze.
So, what has this dark-titanium gray flip phone got to offer to the U.S. customers? The Krave comes with a horde of features, including Mobile TV, V Cast Video, V Cast Music with Rhapsody support, and VZ Navigator. The sound quality is said to be good enough for the music lovers. But, the problem area is the QWERTY keyboard. You are bound to type with the top cover open and sideways.

Technical Specifications: 2.8 inch TFT touchscreen, secondary touchscreen featuring 240 x 320 pixel resolution, interactive clear flip cover, MP3 player, microSD slot, a 3.5mm headphone jack, 2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth.

What others are saying?

Todd Haselton at LatopMag says:

The UI is a bit sluggish and you can see menus slowly pop up instead of jumping in a fluid, speedy, fashion. The full QWERTY keyboard is straight-up awkward.

Pricing and Availability: Motorola Krave ZN4 is available for $149.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and a new two-year customer agreement exclusively through Verizon.
