Following the footsteps of Samsung F300 iPhone, Mio recently launched their Leap K1 dual-face mobile phone with built-in GPS. Leap K1 has a front-screen providing the functionality of regular mobiles; the back-screen has been exclusively spared for high precision GPS navigation and multimedia functions. The backscreen has 2.6 inch touch-screen interface. GPS has been enabled by Triband Network and 20-channel GPS receiver with pre-installed MioMap 2008 software. MioMap can be activated by touch-screen and has pedestial and car modes of navigation. Other functions include 2 megapixel camera, 2.5mm audio jack, bluetooth and miniUSB connector.
