The T-Mobile G1 has been a popular name on the web with a $49.99 price announcement startling everyone almost a month back and now comes an official update. It is being speculated that the update is regarding smaller issues with the local installation of Android. This update (which has been done yesterday on the 20th of July) includes bug fixes and permission fixes. It was announced long back that a couple of updates one big and one small were due this year. With this bug fix update now out of the way, we should wait for a major update from T-Mobile in the near future.
