LG HB620T DVB-T Phone makes European debut

lg dvb t ddD6q 48LG’s latest and coolest mobile TV phone, the LG HB620T, has officially been launched in the European market. Featuring a DVB-T (Digital Video Broadcasting-Terrestrial) receiver, the phone would be able to receive the standard cost free terrestrial digital TV signal (instead of the lame Digital Video Broadcasting-Handheld signal designated for mobile devices) that Freeview box customers in UK and the rest of the continent already enjoy. Apart from its obvious appeal as a mini-TV on the go, the LG HB620T also houses other cellphone essentials like high-speed 7.2Mbps HSDPA network support that offers a packed internet surfing experience via the handset’s 2-inch 240 x 320 pixels color TFT display.

Along with a multimedia player, Bluetooth connectivity and 2mp camera, the cellphone also offers support for microSD expandable memory and is expected to be launched first in Germany with O2, T-Mobile, and Vodafone all the more keen on acquiring the gorgeous set on their network. The phone is also expected to hit France, Greece, Czech Republic and Austria soon as well since these countries already have the DVB-T as a commercialized service.
