Kogan brings Agroa, the world’s second Android phone

Here comes the second Android phone. Kogan Technologies has unveiled the Kogan Agora, the first Australian mobile phone powered by the Android operating system. The new phones called Agora and Agora Pro will be sold without any contract and will work on any network. The company cited that they received direct feedback from consumers on what features and price they wanted. They have worked closely with manufacturers and vendors to develop drivers, software, and tweaks to make the Agora an intuitive and exciting experience for everyone.

Technical Specifications for Agora: A 2.5-inch resistive touchscreen (320 x 240), 3G networking, a backlit QWERTY keyboard, Bluetooth 2.0 and a microSD card slot.

Technical Specifications for Agora Pro: A 2.5-inch touchscreen (320 x 240), 3G networking, a backlit QWERTY keyboard, Bluetooth 2.0 and a microSD card slot, GPS, 2-megapixel camera and WiFi.

Pricing & Availability: The Kogan Agora and the Agora pro will sell for $192 and $256 respectively and will start shipping on January 29.
