So, the Pantech Slate is no more the world’s thinnest QWERTY keyboard handset. The crown has been now claimed by Neoi 906E a tri-band GSM/GPRS handset that features a full QWERTY keyboard. With dimensions of 54 x 83 x 10 mm, the credit card sized Neoi 906E handset weighs a mere 88 grams. As far as design is concerned, I am quite floored. They have managed to pack a horde of features into the slim body of the device. The exterior of the phone is done up in brushed aluminum. Other than a QWERTY keyboard, the phone also has some other buttons that work as shortcut keys for quick access to all audio and video players and camera. They are also claiming the Neoi 906E to be the “world’s FIRST micro sized Java J2Me hand phone.
