So far, iRiver has impressed us with a range of digital media players and now, they have plans to launch a touchscreen phone in Korea on March 9, 2009. KT, South Korea’s second largest mobile operator, will carry the phone in the beginning, while other leading carriers might get it later. The iRiver wave touchscreen phone has already been seen at the CES 2008, but at that time, it was showcased simply as a concept.

Technical Specifications: Full technical details haven’t been announced yet, but the phone will feature 3-inch touchscreen, Wi-Fi, 3G support, FM radio, PMP features, e-dictionary, and 4GB of internal memory.

Pricing and Availability: The iRiver touchscreen phone, at least for now, is scheduled for Korean shelves only. No word on pricing.
