Reckoned widely as the HD3 smartphone that would replace the HTC’s flagship model – the HD2 has been renamed as HD7 in honor of the Windows Phone 7. Revealed by Engadget through a leaked spreadsheet that belonged to the UK carrier O2, the handset is likely to be hitting shelves as early as October 18th. Despite all the claims and rumors that jots it down as the HD7, there’s still a possibility that this labeling refers to HTC’s rumored Mozart or Schubert. While we got to wait till the handset is out in the market, till then keep guessing the target carrier. Anyone?
