As the frenzy draws nearer in Beijing, Samsung has decided to cash in. It has just taken the warps off its special handset designed to commemorate Olympics 2008. The new handset just unveiled in Korea (model: SCH-W590IL, SPH-W5900IL, SPH-W5950IL) is tagged “Soul Olympic Special Edition”. The specs are commonplace enough but there are certain unique features on offer. This limited edition baby touts Olympic logo on its metal battery covers. Other specs are 5MP camera, a QVGA TFT LCD display of 2.2″ 16M, 7.2 Mbps HSPDA and Bluetooth 2.0 for connectivity and navigation indicators on keypad. The handset is sleek and measures 05.9 x 49.5 x 12.9 mm. The ‘Soul Olympic Special Edition’ is on sale for 699,600(KRW).
