Yesterday I was talking about Fly and here is another news from Meridian Group’s stable (Group that owns Fly). Today Meridian Group and Opera together announced that they have entered a partnership and Meridian Mobile’s new Fly E310 will come with pre-installed Opera-Mini for amazing out-of-the-box web surfing experience (yes, I am Opera fanatic……err…..I was before 9.5’s release). E310 is already available with mini-opera in UK, Russia (launched yesterday) and Commonwealth of Independent States and includes all the local languages for these regions. To quote Andrew Collinge, Member of Board of Directors, Meridian Group;

When it comes to offering our customers a fast, secure and cost-efficient Internet service on a mobile phone, the popular Opera Mini browser offers the user an outstanding experience. Accessing the Web could not be easier, as Opera Mini brings the Web to our customers in local languages.
It is noteworthy that Opera and Meridian Group are partners since April last year and since then almost all handsets by Meridian Group are equipped with Opera Mini. So, this announcement is just to publicize the not so great phone (though it can be a nice buy) that goes by the name Fly E310.
