Future smartphones using the major operating systems including the Windows Mobile, Symbian, Linux and RTOS are all set to become smarter as Samsung launched new software to optimize the high performance features of its proprietary embedded flash memories – OneNAND, Flex-OneNand and moviNand. The new software will upgrade the performance of these embedded memory solutions by optimizing data transactions with the memory chips as they interact with the operating system making them more acceptable for the high-end handsets. This means that the future phones will have increased booting speed, faster download and searching capability and improved multimedia operations essential for 3G phones, digital still cameras, digital camcorders, memory cards and digital TVs.
