Talk about acting pricey! Word is that the latest Tag Heuer handset is all set to take the practice of setting outlandish prices for not-so-extraordinary stuff up another notch. By selling their latest offering, the Meridiist, for an obnoxious sum of $6,100, Tag Heuer seem to be extracting sum kind of a tax from its loyal supporters. I mean the thing isn’t even made of gold or diamond. Hell, it doesn’t even have fake glittery stones on it to justify the blingy asking price. And not like it comes with next-to-next gen technology, or Brad Pitt’s personal number either! It just features the standard, and rather dated functions like 1.9″ QVGA main screen, 2-megapixel camera, monochrome OLED on the outer rim and MP3/AAC/MPEG-4 playback. Gosh! If you really like crocs so much, you can just have someone smuggle you a nice one from Australia for that kinda dough!
