Come this July, the much anticipated 3G Blackberry Bold will go for sale in AT&T stores across the U.S of A. This time around, Research in Motion, the makers of the Blackberry have decided to let other mobile carriers like T-Mobile, Verizon and Sprint also join the big Blackberry party. That is quite a departure from convention as AT&T for long, was the only mobile carrier that used to carry the now ubiquitous Blackberry handsets for a whole year before other mobile carriers got the rights to sell the Blackberry. Following this decision of RIM, consumers stand to gain the most as the competition between the different mobile carriers would most probably see Blackberry prices dropping drastically. Talking about the pricing, AT&T is planning to sell the 3G Blackberry Bold for about $300. But most of you might want to wait till September as that’s when the other mobile carriers join start with the phone.
