Cell phones equipped with better lenses could be on their way

Carrying the Digicam around at all times isn’t a possibility for even the most avid photographers. But, what is always there is a moment to capture. One repents the fact that he cannot capture figments which mean so much to him, for the want of a camera. Few would argue that we now have our cell phones powered with the facility to get the job done, but in earnest, each of them would know that the lens of the phone lacks the prowess needed to cherish a moment for a lifetime. With the advent of technology, we might have better lenses supporting our phones, for researchers Eric Tremblay and Joseph Ford, from the University of California, are putting in efforts to develop smaller and thinner lenses with superficial magnifying capability and resolutions. They are trying to use the technology involved in making lenses for the telescopes which reflect light in a pattern different to that of an ordinary camera lens. Also, modern fabrication techniques which use finely chopped lenses have to be taken into consideration. Big Brands like Motorola and Samsung have shown interest in the development and who knows, in a couple of years time, the repentance of missing out on those moments could be done with forever.
