Blackberry 7 hailed as the most secure OS for enterprise users

Trend Micro, the global leader in antivirus cloud computing security, recently named Blackberry 7 OS as the most secure out of four most popular OS. The list of big four OS includes IOS, Android, Windows Phone OS and Blackberry. This is major news for RIM as people have been criticizing it a lot. According to Trend Micro’s report on mobile phone operating system, iOS takes the second spot followed by Windows, while Android is the last in the list.

Blackberry 7

Trend Micro used several security parameters to choose the best. Blackberry 7 was rated well under corporate-grade security and manageability. Blackberry provides all tools that you need to provide security to your phone and data. iOS needs other apps to provide this type of security. Android took the fourth spot due to several delays in updates and sloppy controls. Windows is relatively new in the market and it would be too early to comment, hence it was ranked third.

Blackberry 7 OS has several improvements over the last version. The improved browser is faster and uses lesser data off your data plan. This browser is now optimized to be used with touch. You can search anything in your phone through your voice commands. Security is obviously the main attraction here. It enables you to search you phone when lost or stolen. Now you can manage all you business related documents easier than ever before. This OS comes with the iconic Blackberry Messenger 6 with integrated compass.
