Among the summer phone launch frenzy on part of all the major carriers around the world, we finally have a simple and easy to use device hitting retail as well. AT&T has announced that the Pantech Breeze, an entry-level clamshell phone, will be available with their service at less than $50 after a mail-in rebate for a two-year contract. Known mainly for its large numeric and navigation keys and three extra one-touch-call buttons, the Breeze is aimed mainly at the senior population who find sleeker keypad a hassle to operate. The quad-band world phone also features a handy VGA camera with 640×480 resolution, instant messenger capabilities and a 500-entry phonebook. Overall, the phone is aimed at the elderly population looking for an entry-level phone at a reasonable price.
