An attempt to make a mobile phone call from the summit of Mt. Everest

Does this post make any sense here? I think it does. Well, a British mountain climber named Rod Bader will make an attempt to climb the Everest and then make a mobile call from the summit.

Interestingly, the stunt is sponsored by Motorola and the attempt will be made in May. The possibility of making a mobile phone call from the summit of Everest is possible, thanks to a mobile base station installed in China that falls to the north side of the mountain.

Anyhow, Bader will have to go along the north ridge, which is considered the toughest task. Everything apart, it will be a record-breaking call. Isn’t it?
