After overheating, the iPhone 3G S now clouded with battery life issues

apple iphone 3g 02

Make no mistake here, I absolutely adore the latest iPhone from Apple, but somehow it is been in news here on CB or elsewhere for all the wrong reasons. It was first the overheating issue to which Apple addressed very lamely and now some users of the iPhone 3G S are complaining about the low battery. It is ironical that Apple took the battery life issue into some consideration for the 3G S especially after the iPhone 3G was criticized for its battery life. A ‘valid’ explanation is the variance in battery life depending on the applications being used by a 3G S owner.

On the contrary, the complainants feel disgusting when the phone does not make it through a working day on a single charge. Gary Ng, an iPhone enthusiast (who even runs an iPhone blog) says that if people are committing $1,000 annually for a couple of years to use the 3G S, they deserve a better battery span. It again becomes difficult not be caustic about the 3G S and more so when there are still no recalls for the overheating issue.
