Tech industry is still not sure if the public will embrace 3D TV, but plans for the first 3-D cellphone in the United States are already in the making. While Japanese wireless carrier KDDI is already selling the first commercially available 3-D cellphone, there’s still scope for improvement in the cellphone technology. Since, the technology is in its infancy, the results are not perfect, but i good enough to experience 3-D without wearing glasses. James Bower, president of MasterImage 3-D, believes that most of the handset manufacturers are evaluating 3-D behind the scenes and we could expect the first 3-D cellphone in the United States next year.
